When you spend an internship with us, you will be involved in a range of legal assignments and practice areas. Our internship program is flexible allowing you to receive assignments from all practice groups to make your experience here as broad and enriching as possible. We also encourage you to work on matters of particular interest to you.
2-Month Internship in Zurich (Year Round)
We offer 2-month internships throughout the year. From the first day, you are a part of our Legal Intern Team and you learn more about our work, our law firm and our people. You combine hands-on training with formal training in our regular in-house education courses. You will also receive performance reviews at the end of the internship. An assigned mentor will provide guidance and answer your questions about work-related matters and Schellenberg Wittmer. We accept applications throughout the year, but we encourage students to apply at least six months in advance for summer internships (July and August).
Summer Internship in Geneva (July or August)
During 4 weeks in the summer (either July or August), we offer second or third year students registered in a Swiss law school the opportunity to gain practical experience in our Geneva office. You work with our lawyers in different practice areas on real cases. In addition, you participate in our Summer Intern Program which includes presentations on various topics such as postgraduate studies, the attorney traineeship, the Geneva Bar and its Rules of Contact, and more.
