Get to know Christopher Boog
Christopher Boog is a partner in our Dispute Resolution Group in Zurich. His main area of practice is international commercial arbitration and arbitration-related litigation, with a particular focus on international construction disputes. He has acted as counsel and co-counsel in a wide array of commercial disputes related to construction and engineering projects, research and development, sales contracts including post-M&A disputes, joint ventures and the pharmaceutical and automotive industry. He also focuses on alternative dispute resolution methods such as adjudication, mediation and dispute boards.
Christopher Boog joined our firm in 2003 and was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2006. He graduated with honors from the Law Schools of the universities of Fribourg and Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in 2002 and obtained a doctorate in law from the University of Zurich in 2011 (summa cum laude). In 2008/09, Christopher was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School, New York, where he conducted extensive research in the fields of international arbitration and transnational litigation.
Christopher regularly publishes and speaks in the fields of international arbitration, transnational litigation and Swiss contract law. He is a member of several professional associations, including the International, Swiss and the Zurich Bar Associations, the Swiss Arbitration Association, and the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group.
