Get to know Vincent Carron
Vincent Carron is a counsel in our Dispute Resolution Group in Geneva. He has extensive experience representing clients before the labor courts and advising them on all employment law matters (including review of contracts, employee handbooks, termination agreements, unilateral and collective dismissals, business transfers, structure of severance payments, aspects of inter national employee transfers, international social security coordination, lease of services, restructuring of remuneration and bonus schemes, work schedule reductions, employer’s liability). Vincent Carron also advises and represents clients in matters related to pension funds covering both litigation and corporate aspects and represents clients in commercial and banking litigation.
Vincent Carron graduated from the University of Fribourg School of Law in 1998, summa cum laude. In 1999 – 2000, he worked as a research assistant under the direction of Prof. N. Michel and Dr. E. Clerc on a Swiss National Science Foundation project concerning Public Procurement Remedies. In 2001, he worked as a teaching and research assistant for Prof. P. Pichonnaz at the University of Fribourg. He joined Schellenberg Wittmer in 2002, as trainee and then as an associate after his admission to the bar in 2004. Vincent also studied at New York University where he was granted a full scholarship as an A. T. Vanderbilt scholar. He obtained his Master of Law in 2006 and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2007. In 2008, he became a Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law. Vincent Carron is a member of several associations and is a committee member of the West Switzerland Association of Employment Law Specialists. He regularly publishes in his fields of specialization.
