David Wallace Wilson is a partner with Schellenberg Wittmer’s Private Clients and Estates practice. He advises individuals and families on wealth structuring and estate planning for their personal and business assets. He also acts in complex family, guardianship and inheritance disputes, including administering international successions. His additional area of expertise includes anti-money laundering (AML) and art law.

David is highly recommended by legal directories. He is «a high-calibre and dynamic lawyer» (Chambers Global), who is «unrivalled according to peers» (Who's Who Legal). He was also named a «top 20 below 40 Swiss leader» (Bilan 2010).

David currently serves as chairman of STEP Geneva (officer since 2004). He is a co-editor of the Trust Quarterly Review and the founder of the leading website on trusts in Switzerland – www.trusts.ch. David is frequently quoted in the specialized press and lectures extensively (e.g. Geneva University’s Banking & Finance LL.M., Offshore Tax Planning Conference). He regularly speaks on such topics as trust disputes, international estates, relocating to Switzerland, Swiss taxation of trusts and AML regulations.

David studied Classics, graduated from the University of Geneva in1998 and holds a Master of Laws in Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University (M.C.J. 2001). He further qualified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (2003) and was awarded a STEP Advanced Certificate in Mediation (2013). He joined Schellenberg Wittmer in 2003 and became a partner in 2009.
