Cohu, Inc. completes acquisition of Ismeca Semiconducture Holding AG from Schweiter Technologies AG

NASDAQ-listed Cohu, Inc., Poway, United States, through its division Delta Design, leading global supplier of IC test handling equipment used in the semiconductor industry, completed on 31 December 2012 its acquisition of Ismeca Semiconductor Holding AG (and its subsidiaries), leading global supplier of high-speed testing machines for the semiconductor and LED backend segments industry, with headquarters in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, and major operations in Malaysia and China, from Schweiter Technologies AG, a SIX Swiss Exchange listed Swiss group with headquarters in Horgen, Switzerland, focused on the textile machinery as well as composites and coating business.
The transaction value amounted to USD 54.5 million, plus acquired net cash.
