David Wallace Wilson elected chair of STEP Geneva

On 23rd September 2014, David Wallace Wilson
was appointed as Chair of the Geneva branch of STEP – the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
David has been serving on the STEP Geneva's committee since September 2004. He previously held the position of vice-chairman (since September 2013) and of media officer.
STEP's first international branch, the STEP Geneva Association was formed in 1992 to assist professionals maintain the highest standards in serving their clients and to further the objectives of STEP. It currently has over 450 members and 300 student members. STEP Geneva holds monthly luncheon meetings, conferences and technical events addressed by experts in the many areas of interest to trust and estate professionals.
STEP is the leading worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning. STEP has over 19,400 members across 95 jurisdictions from a broad range of professional backgrounds, including lawyers, accountants, trust specialists and other practitioners in this area. STEP members help families plan for their futures, specialising in a wide range of activities, from drafting a relatively simple will to more complex issues surrounding international families, protection of the vulnerable, family businesses and philanthropic giving.
