Schellenberg Wittmer practitioners author second edition of International Arbitration in Switzerland
01 March 2013
This new publication, "International Arbitration in Switzerland: A Handbook for Practitioners
", capitalizes on the considerable legal and practical know-how accumulated in our international arbitration team.
Since the first edition came out in 2004, there have been quite a few changes in international arbitration practice, in Swiss case law and in the main institutional arbitration rules used in Switzerland. The second edition, comprising of over 400 pages, takes into account these changes and analyzes how they impact international arbitration in Switzerland.
The approach taken throughout the publication is rigorously practice-oriented, adding theoretical support whenever necessary. The book provides useful answers to concrete questions that in-house lawyers, outside counsel, and arbitrators are confronted with when practicing international arbitration in Switzerland.
