, TEP, MCJ (NYU), was a speaker at the first conference "Fights and Friction in Global Trusts and Estates" organized by STEP's new Contentious Trusts and Estates Special Interest Group (SIG).
The new Contentious Trusts and Estates Special Interest Group offered its first conference on recent developments with a program presented by speakers from Australia to the Caribbean. They covered a wide range of topics including challenges to rights in an estate, the removal of trustees, interim relief, attempts to correct past errors and arguments about foreign tax.
David spoke on the Giacometti
cases, which involved a succession dispute, trust recognition and arguments of sham, interim succession relief against third parties, including the trustees, …. and some Giacometti artworks.
