Get to know Oliver Triebold
Oliver Triebold is a partner in our Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Zurich. He regularly advises clients on domestic and cross-border M & A transactions, private equity and venture capital investments, as well as on a variety of other international business transactions, such as joint ventures, (re-)structurings of groups of companies and business outsourcings.
He studied law at the University of Basel (first degree 1990; doctorate 1993) and graduated with a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University School of Law (M.C.J. 1996). Before joining us in 1997, he worked as a foreign associate with an international business law firm in New York and as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Basel.
Oliver Triebold became a partner in 2003 and acted as our Managing Partner from 2007 until 2009. He has authored several publications on mergers & acquisitions, corporate law, and tax law. He currently serves as senior vice-chairman of the International Bar Association’s Corporate and M&A Law Committee.
