Pascal Hubli is a partner in our Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Zurich. His practice focuses on M&A and capital markets transactions, public takeover law, corporate restructurings, complex corporate and commercial law matters, stock exchange law as well as contract law. Pascal Hubli has wide experience in advising national and international, listed and non-listed companies and groups as well as entrepreneurs and investors from various industries.

Pascal Hubli studied law at the Universities of Zurich and Geneva (lic. iur. 2004) as well as at the University of Sydney (LL.M. 2010). He was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2007. He joined our firm in 2005 and became a partner in 2017.

Pascal Hubli is a frequent author and speaker on legal developments affecting mergers & acquisition, public takeover law and corporate law. Further, he is a member of the editorial team of takeoverpractice.ch, Schellenberg Wittmer's innovative website on Swiss Takeover Law. In addition, he is a member of the Swiss Bar Association, the Zurich Bar Association, where he serves as co-head of the «U40 Group» (young practitioners group of the Zurich Bar Association), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).

  • Counsel to Julius Baer Group Ltd in connection with the acquisition of several Swiss asset management companies
  • Member of the team advising SIX Swiss Exchange-listed ams AG to acquire 100% of the share capital of Heptagon Advanced Micro-Optics Pte. Ltd.
  • Counsel to the shareholders of Sketchin Sagl in connection with the sale of their shares to Business Integration Partners S.p.A.
  • Counsel to Canton of Graubünden and Axpo Group, in their acquisition of Alpiq Group’s 24.6% shareholdings in SIX-listed international electricity company Repower incl. representation before Swiss Takeover Board
