Swiss or European-qualified lawyer, International Arbitration (North-East Asian practice) - Geneva


We are currently looking for a Swiss or European-qualified Lawyer to strengthen our North-East Asian practice in the field of:

International Arbitration

With one of the world's leading international arbitration teams based in Switzerland and Singapore, we offer to North-East Asian clients stellar strategic advice and advocacy for international commercial, investment and sports disputes. With our experience and understanding of the market, we manage to bridge cultural gaps and achieve the results our clients' desire through arbitration proceedings seated throughout North-East Asia, be it China, Korea or Japan.

Our team, which includes native Mandarin and Japanese speakers based in Switzerland and Asia, is best suited to provide first-tier assistance to our clients from these regions of the world.

This position is based in our Geneva office. Non-Swiss or EU/EFTA nationals' candidates are expected to hold a valid work permit.

We are looking for candidates to meet the following requirements and skills:

  • You are a Swiss or a European-qualified lawyer and have some work experience in international arbitration gained within a top-tier Swiss or international law firm, including preferably some experience gained in North-East Asia;
  • You are perfectly fluent in English. A good command of a North-East Asian language is a strong asset (Chinese Mandarin, Korean or Japanese), whereas some knowledge of French would be appreciated;
  • You have knowledge of North-East Asia cultures and/or business practices in North-East Asia;
  • You have excellent academic credentials and have completed specialized postgraduate studies in international dispute resolution;
  • You have strong drafting and research skills.
