  • Successful defense of Gazprom Neft PJSC in litigation proceedings in Switzerland against claims brought by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
  • Representation of the Russian Federation in Swiss Supreme Court proceedings to set aside an award on jurisdiction in an investment arbitration matter. The case related to one of the "second-wave" Yukos cases brought against the Russian Federation. As Swiss counsel, we are part of the international legal team representing the Russian Federation in the Yukos matters
  • Representation of the Russian Federation in Swiss Supreme Court proceedings to set aside arbitral awards on jurisdiction in two investment dispute matters
  • Successful representation before the CAS of multiple Russian athletes who had been wrongly banned for life from the Olympic Games amidst allegations of a systematic doping scheme around the Sochi Winter Olympic Games. This was one of the highest-profile cases in sports in recent history. 28 of the 39 athletes we represented were entirely cleared of any wrongdoing with the CAS decisions reducing the bans for the other 11 athletes
  • Counsel to four prominent Russian athletes and members of the Russian National Ski Team in  separate disputes before the CAS regarding their provisional suspension from all competitions amidst allegations contained in the McLaren report on alleged institutionalized doping manipulations around the Sochi Olympic Games
  • Successful representation of a Paralympic Russian athlete who had not been invited to the 2018 Paralympic Games in PyeongChang. The athlete was ultimately permitted to participate in the Games and won two gold and three silver medals, and one bronze medal
  • Successful representation of a high net worth Russian individual in proceedings aimed at enforcing the decision of a Russian court resulting in a settlement with our client’s request being fully satisfied
