Caroline Clemetson: Awarded "Best in Banking & Finance" at the Women in Business Law Awards 2020

Caroline Clemetson was awarded "Best in Banking & Finance" at Euromoney's Women in Business Law Awards. Shortlisted amongst 8 other women across international firms in Europe, Caroline was recognized for her leading practice in the field of finance and her efforts to promote diversity in the legal industry.

Caroline Clemetson is recognized by the jury for her leading practice as counsel to leading banks and is commended especially for her expertise relating to crypto currency operations and regulations. Caroline is applauded for her extensive involvement in promoting gender diversity within the firm and in the finance industry. 

As a member of Schellenberg Wittmer's Management Committee, (the first woman to be elected to a firm's Management Board in the history of major Swiss law firms), Caroline co-leads the firm's diversity taskforce together with Stefan Leimgruber. The taskforce has continuously implemented multiple diversity initiatives and measured targets that strongly commit to a more gender diverse workforce, – especially in the aim of empowering talented women lawyers for leadership and strategic positions.
