Schellenberg Wittmer Wins 3 Awards including Top Innovation Award at the Women in Business Law Awards 2020

Following being shortlisted in multiple categories at Euromoney's Women in Business Law Awards, 2020, Schellenberg Wittmer has won three awards, including the prestigious top innovation award, across its national and international categories.

Schellenberg Wittmer has been a consecutive winner at the European annual awards over the past three years, and is the firm shortlisted in the most categories. 

In 2020, Schellenberg Wittmer is one of two firms in Europe taking home awards within the international categories. 

For its leading market position for women in business law, its gender diversity taskforce, higher promotion rate for women into management roles and new initiatives in the pipeline via its taskforce, Schellenberg Wittmer has won the all-encompassing, distinguishing international "Innovation" award – for the difference it is making for women in business law.

For its dedication and consideration towards improving policies towards family life and career progression, Schellenberg Wittmer has been awarded the "Work-Life Balance" Award amongst law firms in Switzerland.

As a leading practitioner in her field of expertise, and an individual actively campaigning for the promotion of women into senior positions within the finance fields in particular Caroline Clemetson was awarded "Best in Banking & Finance" within the international category.

The third year win for the firm demonstrates Schellenberg Wittmer's commitment in promoting gender diversity within the workforce on all levels as part of its key values contributing to its on-going success, strategy and vision.

Schellenberg Wittmer Is commended by the jury of the awards for initiatives that are not only a strong response to the needs of their firm, but also extremely innovative across the European legal community. 

The 10th annual Euromoney Legal Media Group Europe Women in Business Law Awards is aimed at recognizing firms with the best initiatives for gender diversity, innovation, minority women, mentoring, work-life balance, pro bono work and talent management.
