Schellenberg Wittmer wins "Law Firm of the Year – Switzerland" at The Lawyer European Awards 2020


Schellenberg Wittmer has been recognized as law firm of the year: Switzerland, at The Lawyer European Awards 2020. This marks a prestigious win, accompanying the firm also celebrating its 20 year anniversary of high-standing in the legal market , – consistent with the awards that celebrate excellence across the European legal market.

Leading firms across Europe were announced in a virtual ceremony, which celebrated the winners in different categories across a wide range of jurisdictions and practice areas. Awarded firms are those that are highly commended by The Lawyer's elite judging panel (comprised of senior in-house counsel and private practice lawyers) for implementing bold initiatives ranging from internal innovation to international strategies.

Schellenberg Wittmer was awarded by the jury for its extensive growth that has strengthened its leading market position. The firm was hailed for a record year in 2019 in regards to business, headcount, productivity, new clients and high-level representations. The firm was also commended for its significant investment in operations and technology and its meaningful commitment to diversity. Further recognition was given to the firm's cross-border capabilities, relationships and international reach via its Singapore office and recently launched regional desks.
