Another record-breaking IBA European Corporate and Private M&A Conference in Paris

Oliver Triebold co-chaired together with Jacques Buhart of McDermott Will & Emery, Paris, the 8th IBA European Corporate and Private M&A Conference. Lorenzo Olgiati was a panel speaker for the session "Silence is golden – the intricacies of non-disclosure agreements in sales processes".

The Conference presented by the IBA Corporate and M&A Law Committee took place on 6-7 February in Paris, France, but sold out already in early December with a record-breaking 500 delegates from across 40 countries in attendance.

Topics discussed by leading experts included: Current legal developments in European private M&A; Drafting considerations for purchase agreements in fully insured deals; The intricacies of non-disclosure agreements in European sales processes; The basics of cross-border distressed M&A in Europe; Cross-border M&A and state control on foreign investments; Private equity versus family office; Non-compete undertakings in European M&A deals; Good faith in cross-border M&A; Equity rollover transactions in Europe.
