Martin Lanz is a Partner in Schellenberg Wittmer's Zurich office. He focuses on banking and finance law, capital markets law, and stock exchange law.

Experience

  • Specializes in establishing financial intermediaries and advises on regulatory matters that affect them, such as capital adequacy issues, organizational aspects, and outsourcing matters
  • Transactions such as initial public offerings, rights offerings, convertibles, bond issues, syndicated loans and the structuring of employee stock option plans
  • Counsel to Raiffeisen Switzerland Cooperative in connection with the status of the Raiffeisen group as a domestic systemically important banking group (D-SIB), in particular with respect to group structure aspects and gone-concern capital issues
  • Counsel to Raiffeisen Switzerland Cooperative in the issue by itself of 3% CHF 550 mio Additional Tier 1 Capital Bonds
  • Counsel to AXA Life Ltd in a public tender offer for all the shares in Zürcher Freilager AG, a Zurich based real estate company with a portfolio of CHF 870 mio.
