Wolfgang Junge is a Senior Associate in our International Arbitration Group in Geneva and in our Litigation Group in Zurich. He represents clients in complex arbitration and multi-jurisdictional state court proceedings. He has several years of experience in developing and implementing global defense strategies for corporate clients against claims resulting from compliance-related situations. He regularly acts as counsel in arbitration proceedings administered by various arbitration institutions. Wolfgang has also been appointed as an arbitrator in post M&A disputes.


  • Advised on and helped implement a global defense strategy for more than 70,000 multijurisdictional compliance-related lawsuits brought by customers against a German car manufacturer and its distribution network
  • Successfully defended a German pharmaceutical company in two parallel DIS arbitration proceedings against claims of EUR 85 million arising from an M&A transaction
  • Successfully defended the Middle Eastern branch of a large German car manufacturer in ICC proceedings against a Qatari distributor’s wrongful termination claims of USD 150 million
  • Successfully defended a Chinese-German photovoltaic investor in a SHIAC proceeding against payment claims brought by a Chinese solar cell supplier under English law
  • Represented a leading U.S. aviation supplier in a DIS arbitration in a post-M&A claim of EUR 25 million
  • Defended a “Big Four” auditing firm against remuneration claims by former partners in 12 ad hoc arbitration proceedings
