WealthBriefing Awards 2015: David Wallace Wilson and Grégoire Wuest award winners

25.03.2015 – David Wallace Wilson and Grégoire Wuest both won awards at WealthBriefing's Swiss Awards 2015 held in Geneva on March 25th 2015. In the Wealth Management category, David won the award for Leading Individual, and Grégoire won the Rising Star award. This was the first time these two awards were ever awarded in Switzerland.

The WealthBriefing Swiss Awards 2015 were presented "to recognise the range and depth of the Swiss wealth management industry, a sector that continues to face a multitude of challenges. With so much change taking place, it is right that the people setting high standards are recognised."

Regarding David Wilson, winner of the Leading Individual award in Wealth Management, the organisers commented: "Our winner is one of our sector’s most enthusiastic authors of articles on trust matters. A prominent speaker at conferences aimed at advancing understanding of the evolving market, he speaks on topics as diverse as trust disputes, inheritance and relocation issues, and family governance among others.  This is to say nothing of his work as a lecturer on the internationally recognised CIWM diploma program."

Regarding Grégoire Wuest, winner of the Rising Star award in Wealth Management, the organisers commented: "he impressed the judging panel with his handling of complex cross-border cases. He has trained and worked in New York and Singapore and this has led him to be well versed in both American and Asian cultures. Furthermore, it was noted that he is highly active in educating colleagues and key industry players."

ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to all the winners. He said: “The firms who triumphed in these awards are all worthy winners, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations. These awards were judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which had to be answered focusing on the client experience, not quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards recognise the very best operators in the private client industry, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management."
