Would you like to apply your knowledge and skills in a real-life work environment?

Schellenberg Wittmer offers unique internship opportunities to talented students with an excellent academic record and an interest in business law.

When you spend an internship with us, you will be involved in a range of legal assignments and practice areas. Our internship program is flexible allowing you to receive assignments from all practice groups to make your experience here as broad and enriching as possible. We also encourage you to work on matters of particular interest to you.
2-Month Internship in Zurich (Year Round)
We offer 2-month internships throughout the year to students with a Bachelor's degree (at the time of the internship) received, as a rule, from a Swiss law school. From the first day, you are a part of our team and you learn more about our work, our law firm and our people. You combine real-life work experience with formal training in our regular in-house education courses. You will also receive performance reviews at the end of the internship. An assigned mentor will provide guidance and answer your questions about work-related matters and Schellenberg Wittmer.

As we receive a high number of applications, we encourage students to apply at least nine to twelve months in advance. Please include your curriculum vitae, academic records, evaluations of papers as well as other certificates, qualifications or job references you may have obtained. We also invite you to indicate your preferred time slots and possible alternative dates in your application. Our 2-month internships start at the beginning of each uneven month (January, March, May, etc.).

In addition, you will participate in our Summer Intern Program, which includes workshops based on cases handled by our firm in various fields of law as well as presentations on topics such as postgraduate studies, working in a foreign law firm, the attorney traineeship (incl.
