Christoph Vonlanthen spoke at the seminar "Kapitalmarkt - Recht und Transaktionen XVI" at the Europa Institut of the University of Zurich.
Christoph discussed the topic of private investments in publicly traded equity or "PIPEs", with particular focus on the latest trends since the outbreak of the pandemic and the ways that this important source of capital can be structured in the Swiss market.
The "Kapitalmarkt - Recht und Transaktionen" seminar is organized annually by the Europa Institut of the University of Zurich. In 2020, panelists addressed a range of current topics in capital markets, including, in addition to PIPEs, restructuring transactions in capital markets, LIBOR replacement for capital market instruments, spin-offs, exits from equity investments in capital markets, blockchain and distributed ledger technology, as well as first experience with review offices.
