Schellenberg Wittmer hosted the Latin American Arbitration Practitioners (LATAP) launch event at the firm’s Geneva office on November 28. The event was organized by International Arbitration associate Sebastian Coulon Bauer, vice president of LATAP and one of its funding members.
Vice-Chair of the International Arbitration practice group Christopher Boog gave the opening address which was followed by a panel discussion about "Arbitral Institutions in Latin American-Related Arbitrations".
LATAP is a project initiated by seven Latin American lawyers specialized in international arbitration and working in top tier law firms across Europe. It is building a network of practitioners focused on international arbitration and with strong ties to, or experience in, Latin America.
