Schellenberg Wittmer at Digital Days 2020

22.10.2020

Schellenberg Wittmer is partnering with digitalswitzerland in their 4th annual series of Swiss Digital Days 2020 between November 1-3, 2020.

Aiming to make digitisation a tangible experience and promote dialogue on the subject, the programme of Swiss Digital Days 2020 unites digital industry experts, digital enthusiasts, businesses and newcomers to collaborate and debate on the topic of digital change for the Switzerland of tomorrow. Over 300 events online and offline will take place across over 20 locations in Switzerland.

Our technology and data lawyers Roland Mathys, Samuel Klaus, Amalie Wijesundera, Claudia Jung and Floriane Zollinger-Löw will lead an interactive series of Learning Lab sessions under the Security & Safety topic "Data Protection in Daily Life" as follows:

November 1, 2020: https://www.digitaldays.swiss/programm/datenschutz-im-alltag-1/

November 2, 2020: https://www.digitaldays.swiss/programm/datenschutz-im-alltag-2/

November 3, 2020: https://www.digitaldays.swiss/programm/datenschutz-im-alltag-3/

The Learning Lab sessions, which are complimentary to all participants, combine a short video with moderated discussions. The sessions will look at the basics of data protection and illustrate these principles in a brief case study. They will enable participants to perceive when, to what extent and for what purpose their data is being processed and the opportunities and risks associated with data processing.
