Sponsor of the European Law Moot Court (ELMC) Competition

Schellenberg Wittmer is a proud sponsor of the European Law Moot Court (ELMC) competition 2019-2020 University of Geneva team.

The firm organized a joint event with the Centre d’études juridiques européennes and the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva, during which a team of 4 students was coached by a group of cross-disciplinary Schellenberg Wittmer lawyers (Jean-Frédéric Maraia, George Ayoub, Julien Witzig, Giulia Marchettini and Jérémie Tenot) in preparation for their participation in the competition.

The Geneva University team was qualified for semi-finals in Bucharest, making it to the top 4. Congratulations to Giovanni Bertinelli, Jessica Cambiati, Caroline Montag and Alexandru Ursu for their hard work and achievements.

The ELMC is an annual international competition which is held between University teams of students who have an interest in European Union Law. It is considered as the most prestigious moot court within the field of European Union Law and one of the most important moot court competitions in the world.
